Seriously though “planned obsolescence” of technology is a cheap trick to force us to buy new technology we don’t want or need. Corporations finding answers to problems that don’t exist. CD’s cost less than a dollar to make, significantly more than records did. What did the music industry do with that extra money, they put it into their pockets and recording artists had to sue to get their fair share of the profits. Artists prior to the late 80’s were robbed blind by the recording industry and are all impoverished now. The original generations of pop stars are still touring late into their 70’s 80’s, and even 90’s because record companies cheated them out of their intellectual property and left them destitute.
Ted Cruz argued (unsuccessfully) in front of the Supreme Court defending the Chinese communist government for stealing western intellectual property by making and selling knockoff items. Ron DeSantis has proposed ending trademarks and copyrights to punish “woke” corporations like Disney by denying them royalties from their work. DeSantis wants to stagnate all invention and work by putting others intellectual property into the public domain.
This new generation of Republikkkans are pure fascists who are learning that by acting crazy they can fundraise enormous sums on their own and not be beholden to anyone. This leads to chaos with rogue actors like Trump, Greene, Boebert, Gosar, Santos, Cawthorne, etc running amok unable to be restrained by their own party.
Fox “news” did cheat and give info to a candidate before the presidential debate, but they didn’t give it to Biden, like the MAGAts and Q-nuts say. They gave it to their boy trumpie.
